Copacabana rum is an artisan product, authentic and unique. Maria Bonita sugar cane was selected for its aromatic quality. All of the sugar cane juice (garapa) is distilled and only the heart of the distillate is kept. Sugar cane is distilled directly to 40% AVB, with no water added.


A history

Reflecting strengthened cultural ties between France and Brazil, Vinovalie has signed a strong cooperation agreement with Brazilian producers to produce Copacabana.

Its aromas explode in cocktails made with fruit juices, the most common in Brazil being the Caipirinha which is made with Cachaça, lime, sugar and crushed ice. The most famous cocktail may be Caipirinha but Copacabana rum is perfect for all long drink mixes (batida) with coconut milk or fresh fruit juices like strawberry, passion fruit, kiwi...
